Chavi on the Ger

I promised a video blog, but this isn't exactly on what I was shooting for. This video is about what a convert is and why a convert is not obligated to tell the world they are a convert. So watch it! And I apologize for both the length and the occasional hopping of the video -- I got a call midway through recording that got me all jumbled and confused :) But please, enjoy and let me know what you think! I promise they'll be shorter in the future!

Thanks for this, Chavi! It's always interesting to read/hear other's thoughts on this issue.

Looking forward to the next instalment!

Oy Chavi -

Thanks so much for this. This gives me really strength to move on going my way. I like the approach of thinking of conversion as getting my soul back home to Judaism - in fact, I am thinking and feeling like this since I started.
Even in the difficult environment in Gemany, this helps a lot.

And your V-cast is more than sweet - please go on with this idea, it is fantastic!

Enjoyed this very much and hope that you will add more. I am considering conversion and will certainly get Rabbi Angel's book.

Todah rabah (thanks a bunch) guys! How interesting to have someone as far away as Germany!

I'll be posting more, indeed. I know there are several regular readers considering conversion, and I want to be able to offer as many experiences/opinions on the process as I can.

Once again, if there's anything you'd like to know more about ... feel free to email me and I'll work it into a post/vlog!
