I wish I were more in the know about Israeli politics. The long and short of it is that I know Olmert is bad, Tzipi is good. A united coalition is necessary for Tzipi to reign after Olmert steps down (the masses cheer, I guess). But that's pretty much it. I admire the multi-party system that they rock, considering we have but two real major parties here and it just isn't enough. But the other thing I do know for sure is that this IsraelVintage.com T-shirt makes Tzipip look pretty freakin' badass.

I'm not sure that everyone will think that Tzipi is good - although I'd be surprised if anyone disagrees with your comment on Olmert!
Love the T-shirt, though!

Pretty cool shirt.
Chavi,
I don't know that much about politics in Israel either, but the impression that I have gotten from Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum is that Tzipi is not so good. I study with Rabbi Greenbaum, who lives in Jerusalem, every Sunday morning. I personally don't know much about her...but I do trust Rabbi Greenbaum.
Tzipi might be considered a relatively honest incompetent as opposed to Olmert who is a dishonest incompetent. It appears that Livni is one of the anti-Israel crowd who want to preemptively surrender Jerusalem and the Yesha areas. The only possibility is that she might be less obvious about it.
