Pesach approaches, at light-speed, it seems. Are you ready? I think it's evident from my recent posts that I'm not, but hey, I'm getting there. So, to ease the stress of the coming holiday and all the cleaning and shopping that it involves, I'm proud to announce a Passover Giveaway, sponsored by the awesome folks at PopJudaica.com! First, the nifty giveaway items. The winner of this giveaway will receive a Bag of Plagues (perfect for the kiddies during a long seder), a Got Matzah? Apron for the crazy cooker in the house, and for the fashionable kippah connoisseur, the Matzah Yarmulke!
The rules?
- Go to PopJudaica.com.
- Find your favorite kitschy cool Judaica item (buy something, already, will you?)!
- IMPORTANT: Come back here, to kvetchingeditor.com, post a comment with your favorite item and how I can contact you.
- The deadline for entering is Sunday, March 29 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
- Wait until Monday morning.
- WIN!
- Restrictions: Only U.S. and Canada residents can win!
So spread the word, figure out how you're going to use the awesome plagues in a bag to entertain your kids, or maybe even your impatient adult guests. And be sure to follow @PopJudaica over on Twitter!
Let the winning begin!

I think the Happiness bracelet is lovely!
This prize package would make an awesome gift for my friend that I just recently learned converted. :)
Since I just had a little girl, I'm going to opt for the "Save the date for my bat mitzvah" onesie. That's cute. Although, I STILL love that damn croc kippah for my son which is odd because I hate crocs with a passion.

I NEED that Moses doll. I bet it is fully articulated so that Moses can beat a Pharoah doll with his staff. But more importantly, it looks like Charlton Heston in "The Ten Commandments" film. Without Senor Heston and that film, I might never have been Jewish. I watched the film religiously...every Easter.
O.K. I just ordered 5 matzoh crumb catchers for gifts at my seder! At least I know it is something that they will not already own! I also acknowledged my son the mensch with a mensch t-shirt! So, can I have my prize now? rjlebed@scj.com
Let My People Go Toilet Seat Cover is the greatest item! so funny!

Ugh, I can't vote and risk making these guys lose!

Lovely jewish gifts! All of them
Okay, I'm not sure whether the "Convert to Judaism Instantly Breath Spray" or the "Let My People Go" toilet seat cover made my head explode more, but my pre-Pesach cleaning must now include brains on the wall! :) As for the Plagues Bag, they are wonderful, although my kids have also created their own (Hopper from A Bug's Life makes a wonderful locust, don'tchaknow!). (Best way to reach me is @profjonathan on Twitter, if I happen to win. Thanks!)
I'm going to go with the matzah crumb sweeper. How useful is that.
I'm in Israel, but I assume it's a shipping issue? Easily sent to the 'rents for pick-up. :)

You're probably not going to like this but my truly favorite item at popJudaica.com was the "Kish Mir In Tuchus Undies."
I guess I'm on a pretty low madrega right now . . .

I love everything, but that "Let my people" toilet seat is just too funny!
The KOOGLE apron is the cutest thing!!!
I love the 4 Questions Finger Puppets and, well, the Aleph Bet flashcards, because to say that my Hebrew is rusty would be an understatement of the year.
Great giveaway! Thanks for the Twitter reminder - I'd read this entry in a hurry & forgotten to come back to enter!
