This ties perfectly into my Rabbi asking about Twitter. Would it be inappropriate for me to send this to him? (I'm only half-joking, by the way.) Hat tip to the On Chanting blog!

Ha! I love it.
Ha, very funny. I didn't know what twitter was either (until now), but I had a basic idea.
the truth is the same could be said about blogging:
"Why are you blooging?"
"Because I've got things to say!"
"Uh, don't you have FRIENDS you can say them to?!"
"...no."
It's a tough realization for me!
@Mottel I figured you would :)
@Young guy It's funny how a lot of regular bloggers have gone the way of Twitter. I think the point was that Tweets were meant as microblogs to inspire longer blogs. Sort of like brainstorming, if that makes sense. But it's worked kind of in the reverse and caused a lot of bloggers to just "microblog" but that's not really blogging at all, in my opinion.
That was hilarious. Maybe I'll show my landlady. (Then again she has a life, unlike me).
Yes, though how is real blogging any better? According to this video it too represents some level of social desperation.
Bwahaha!
"I can hear people's thoughts!
Never mind, it's twitter again."
LOVE all of your reactions :)
I don't think I'm socially desperate though ... I just need to write. It's like how my neshama needs to be fed all things Jewish.
