chavivah!! I am crying here - this is such amazing news!! I am so proud of you, and the person that you have become. It was such an honour to finally meet you, you are an inspiration to so many people.

I wish you that you go Mechayil el Chayil, from strength to strength, may your Ahavat Hashem and Yirat Shamayim just grow and expand.

I am so thrilled to hear this awesome news.

BeSha'a Tovah.

Beahava, Hadassah and the KoD!

@Yoav Todah rabah!

@Hadassah I am, as always, eternally grateful for your words and support. You know how to make a ger feel loved and welcomed :) And, of course, like I've been within Am Yisrael my whole life!

Just chanced upon your blog (via heateatreview?) and you're truly inspiring... looking forward to reading more (and really digging in!)

Best,

I know exactly what you mean when you say you know you're ready :) My conversion was Conservative. I believe all conversions are valid and since I am not planning on marrying or having more children, well, that's okay with me. I am however becoming WAY more observant - hair covering, mikveh, chabad services...and I kind of like it. I know given where I live an O conversion just wouldn't work right now so...I am happy where I am.

This is fantastic news though. I know how hard you've worked, how very Jewish you ARE and how this will truly bring your neshama ba bayit :)

I'm so excited for you! I got goosebumps when you were talking about it. :)

We don't have any similar process in Tibetan Buddhism but it is a path of growth and new things so I totally understand knowing when you're ready to take the next step, learn more, and grow.

Best of luck at your meeting! :) ♥

At the risk of being a pessimist - make sure the RCA conversion is 100% accepted by the rabbanut in Israel! They've been sketchy about these things in the past.

Congrats! You look like you've dropped some major poundage since you went kosher, too. B'hatzlachah on that too!
